Shri Pandian who opened “Ganapathy Stores”, the first grocery store at the 1st Mile Junction of Kumily passed away on 12th May 2023 at his home town.
Pandian aged 67 who was fondly called Annachi set up shop in Kumily about forty years ago. Hailing from Tiruchendur in Tamil Nadu, Pandian built up a reputation in Kumily as a kind, sincere and honest trader
Annachi was a person who was loved by all. he helped the people of the place and alleviated the suffering of the poor by providing groceries even without taking money from the needy.
